Mark Coughlin—Board Member and Head of Marketing and Revenue, Envy Gaming, Inc.
Mark is a Board Member of Envy Gaming, an esports holding company that owns and operates the Dallas Fuel, the Overwatch League franchisee in Dallas, TX, and 5 other esports teams competing in Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Palladins, Rocket League and PUBG. Mark serves Envy Gaming as Head of Marketing and Revenue.
Prior to joining Envy Gaming, Mark owned and operated Motorculture, an advisory and consulting services company that provided sports marketing subject-matter expertise in such areas as media & intellectual rights, sponsorship and relationship management to brands, facilities, properties and their agencies. From 2003 to 2015 Mark was Executive Vice President of Octagon initially establishing a new office in Charlotte, NC with 3 employees and growing it to over 100 full time staff in less that 4 years. Mark joined Octagon in 2003 to lead the evaluation and negotiation of the largest (at the time) U.S. sports sponsorship deal in history – the title sponsorship of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. While at Octagon, Mark also provided sports marketing advice and counsel to: BMW, Mini, Hyundai, The Home Depot, SAP, Siemens, Bank of America, Texas Instruments and Allstate, among many others.
Prior to joining Octagon, Mark was Executive Vice President with Campbell Communications where he managed a 60-person staff that handled all of Ford's motorsports, event, and community-related sponsorships.
For eleven years beginning in 1987, Mark played a variety of marketing roles for The Valvoline Company and served from 1994 to 1998 as Director of Global Advertising and Sports Marketing.
